About The Competition

History Bowl is a team-based academic buzzer competition that tests knowledge in every matter of history, ranging from Ancient Rome to modern events. Two teams of 3-6 players will participate in 4 rounds. The first round consists of a toss-up question, where each clue decreases in difficulty, and students can buzz in when they hear a question. The second round is similar, except the team that answers the question correctly gets an extra 10 point bonus question. The third round is a "lightning round," in which each team is asked rapid-fire questions in the span of a minute. The final round also consists of tossups, but those who answer earlier get bonus points depending on where they answered.
